CCMA EDI Statement

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values at the CCMA. Together, we are working towards an industry that represents and supports all artists, teams and fans. As an organisation, we commit to making these values a fundamental part of our culture and creating sustainable change in country music and beyond.

An equitable and inclusive environment is essential to our success. As a result, we honour every member of our community and welcome them with fair opportunities. Above all, we celebrate differences in race, ethnicity, gender identity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, religion, ability, language, age, size, and more.

To achieve our mission, we listen to feedback from our staff, members, and community. In addition, we challenge those who reinforce exclusionary practices. Those who want to be agents of change are educated and supported. Furthermore, we take meaningful action to build an environment where everyone sees themselves reflected. Canadian country music has a rich and complicated history. Ultimately, building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive CCMA is critical to its future.

Please note that submitting a Volunteer Application does not guarantee a place on our Volunteer Team. We will contact all approved volunteers by email with directions on next steps.

We appreciate your time and commitment to making this event a success!
